About Merrimack Products Limited

Merrimack Products Limited had its origin back in 1988, when a small transformer manufacturing business was founded in Rathangan, Co Kildare, by Owner / Director, Martin Shiel.

Today, the business is owned and managed by Martin’s son, Andrew, who has been with the company since 2007. Merrimack Products has established and consolidated itself as a high quality, leading and dependable supplier of transformers and associated products in Ireland and has always kept a focus on quality products at competitive prices.

Merrimack Products Limited acquired agencies and formed partnerships over the years with European manufacturers. We supply a wide range of products including: Dry type, Cast Resin & Oil Filled Transformers to the electrical industry, as well as to customers in the green renewable sectors of wind and solar energy. We also supply anti harmonic K factor transformers to the computer and UPS industry.

We also supply Custom transformers, Site units, Variacs, 1ph-3ph Convertors, Enclosures, control panels, gate automation & specialist equipment.

We are very proud of our long standing record of supplying the highest standard of quality and service to our customer’s over the years.  We are pleased to offer specific design and product guidance in liaison with the client, including the offer, right through to delivery of the finished goods.
